At Ocean Sensor Systems we are committed to bringing you the best in sensors and wave instrumentation. Our sensors and instrumentation are made to operate in the oceans, lakes, holding tanks, wave tanks, test facilities, flumes or what you may need to measure or monitor. All systems are engineered and built to work well in the worst environmental conditions. They can be used for measuring water level, temperature, tides, wave action, or tilt action when mounted on a buoy, barge or other vessel. Some collect data, store it to compact flash cards, (which can be replaced with new cards), while you take the collected data flashcard, insert it into your notebook computer or take it with you, for later viewing back at your lab or business. We power our sensors and data collectors with standard alkaline batteries, and solar cell panels.
In addition to our Wave Staffs, Wave Loggers, RF Wave Loggers, Submersible Wave Gages, and Water Level Controllers you will find accessories such as Interchangeable Staffs, Connector Boards, Serial Port Adapters, Battery Packs, External Temperature Sensors and Mounting Hardware Kits. We also offer product information, complete data sheets, user guides and interface software. We can work with you to customize our products for your particular application.

Wave Staff Synchronizers: OSSI-012-012C The OSSI-012-012C is specially designed to initiate the Wave Staffs to take synchronous samples of 2 to 6 staffs and combine the results to a single RS232 data stream at 38.4K baud. There is no need to pre-configure the Wave Staffs as they are automatically configured by the Synchronizer at power up time. Two or three Synchronizers may be linked together to simultaneously sample up to 12 to 18 Wave Staffs. The Synchronizers may be configured to free run or sample on command. The enclosure is a NEMA 4X type box. | |
